We come from diverse backgrounds in technology, strategic venture capital, renewable energy, and international business development.
We’ve spent the last two decades funding innovation and opening international markets for today’s leading brands. Today, we’ve pulled a team together, with more than 18 years of LED related engineering experience & world-class manufacturing.
LED technology has disrupted a 100 year-old supply chain forcing companies to adopt a new approach to design and manufacturing. Governments around the world have passed measures to phase out incandescent light bulbs in favor of more energy-efficient lighting. Countries that are now just delivering electricity to villages are using LED technology, and Veriled is at the forefront of this transformation.
LED lighting will be one of the largest markets in the world. This paradigm shift is similar to when analog cell phones went digital……we’re adding semi-conductors to light bulbs, the possibilities are endless and we have the team.
One person, one industry or one country alone can’t solve global-scale problems such as environmental preservation. We must make a joint effort to recognize the problems, establish individual plans of action and follow through to achieve the common goal of protecting the environment. At Veriled, we regard environmental protection as industry’s social responsibility. In fulfilling this responsibility to achieve global environmental preservation for the future and establish a resource-recycling society for lasting economic development, we shall strive to preserve the environment through our industrial activities and to reduce environmental hazards in the life cycle of our products.
We give top priority to purchasing goods, materials, office equipment and supplies, and others that have minimal environmental hazards.
Veriled's new Green Manufacturing Initiative ensures our manufacturing partners follow RoHS and REACH standards. Our new guidelines clarify the level(s) of the ban on using environmentally hazardous substances contained in the parts and materials used in products. We ban certain material and restrict usage on other material we believe may be banned in future.
Veriled is proud to be co-located with the National Minority Business Council Together, leveraging our relationship capital, we educate, train and help members of the NMBC learn about energy efficiency and starting companies in our space.
Together with members of the NMBC, Veriled has launched an initiative to promote LED lighting in the Caribbean for residential and commercial sectors. We’re building a platform around LED lighting that will provide financing opportunities and educate home and business owners about the value of LED products. Our first showcase room will open in Jamaica in Q2, 2014.
